The Fallen Pantheon, Light Song's Rule!

Description

The Fallen Pantheon was formed 48,000 years ago by Solis Cantus, aka Light Song, after her exile from the Celestial Pantheon due to her bloodlust and thirst for power.

During Light Song's lifetime, the Fallen Pantheon was strict, cruel, and uncaring, made up of spirits that joined her in order to solidify the treaty between her and their home kingdoms, or Royals who joined after Light Song destroyed their kingdom with their help (unknowing or fully willingly). Light Song's goal was to take over the entirety of Salha, and rule with an iron fist. If kingdoms refused to join an alliance with her, she destroyed them.

The Pantheon members themselves were strong, cunning, smart, sneaky, or helpful in some other way. If Light Song didn't have a use for them, they were either killed or, if they'd be useful outside of the Pantheon, stripped of their Deity status so someone actually useful could take their place.

Home Base

The majority of the Fallen Pantheon lives within the Bright Palace in Lux Aura. When it was first built back in the era shortly after the Original Pantheon, it was considered a beacon of hope and light going into the future, and was made on a platou overlooking the Capital City of the kingdom. It's been well-maintained, renovated, and rebuilt overtime to keep it in high quality, and any additions or rebuilds have been made with the same glowing moonstone-quartz the original bricks were made of, and the quarry is still operational. When Light Song made the Fallen Pantheon, she took over the Bright Palace, leaving the Royals of Lux Aura to remake a new castle to live in.

(Descriptions & ages listed as of 30 years before Light Song's death, before Vizerxa took over the Pantheon from within)

The Fallen Pantheon is loosely divided into two parts, similar to the Celestial Pantheon's Major and Minor pantheons.

The ones closest to Light Song, or the ones considered highly powerful but unlikely to betray her, are called the Elites.

The other members are most frequently called Zelerins (Godly Zypherins/generals), since they generally had positions of power outside of being Gods.

Spirits who followed and were close to Light Song, awaiting the chance to become Deities under her, were called Souls. They are somewhere between Followers and Deities, aka Demigods. They usually command smaller parts of Light Song's armies, were used as messengers, or plain soldiers. Souls usually do not live in the Bright Palace permanently like the Pantheon, but do visit often and for long periods of time between missions.

Elites

Light Song / Solis Cantus

48,129 years old, physically 45.

Goddess of Light and Corruption.

The founder and leader. During life, she was a Queen of Lux Aura. She was killed, executed by the Royal Court, after attempting to poison her brother and the influential members of the Court. The Celestial Pantheon of her time was unaware of this, and accepted her into their ranks as the Goddess of Light and Power. After making her bloodlust known, she was exiled, and soon formed her own Pantheon.

Star Seer / Tenebris Deorum

197,654 years old, physically 50.

God of Prophecy and the Mindscape.

The main advisor due to his knowledge & wisdom from age, and his prophetic foresight. When he realized Light Song had the longest 'remaining life' of any Celestial God, he left the Celestials to follow her, and hopefully guide her down a better path. He joined out of the loneliness from outliving everyone he's known, and his tendency to cling to anyone with a long lifespan.

Vizerxa Mortem

567 years old, physically 35.

God of Observation and Strategy.

Light Song's advisor in wartime, and the one who officially brought down Regnum Deos in the Deorum War with her strategies. An unwilling addition who was brought in after being tricked by Light Song & her kingdom destroyed, but she's sworn loyalty and seems to stick true to it through Light Song's cruelty to others.

Amatus Maren

15,024 years old, physically 37.

God of Storms and Loyalty.

One of the few who joined Light Song willingly. Originally was part of the Celestial Pantheon, but left on his own due to having similar bloodlust and need for chaos as Light Song did, despite the heavy toll betraying his Pantheon put on his physical state. Is incredibly loyal to Light Song, and has bound every Fallen Deity and Soul to Light Song, so betraying or hurting her will physically harm them as well.

Aella Maren

15,002 years old, physically 24.

Goddess of Oceans and Exploration(travel/freedom).

Originally lived a nomadic pirate life on the ocean, but made a fatal mistake and attacked a ship that Light Song was on. Light Song killed Aella's beloved crew, and made her join the Pantheon. Aella stays loyal despite not being allowed to even see the ocean anymore due to the threat of Light Song possibly hunting down and killing her final Crew a second time, or killing her descendants.

Videns Mortem

586 years old, physically 19.

Goddess of Chaos and the Mindscape.

Despite being highly unpredictable and uncontrollable (without her powers cancelled), Videns is considered an Elite due to her highly useful powers and skills. When Light Song needs her to do something she possibly wouldn't do otherwise (such as Oleander assassinations), Light Song would mind control her. it has a weaker effect on Videns due to being a Mindscape god, but it still works.

Zelerins

Blood Moon / Xealryu Ruinam

5,463 years old, physically 37.

God of War and Strength.

Another willing member of the Fallen Pantheon, though originally joined due to a treaty between their home Kingdom and Light Song. Realized that the chaos and pain that Light Song brought was quite fun, and swore eternal loyalty. Is a Zypherin in Light Song's armies.

Mendacium Deorum

700 years old, physically 34.

God of Lies and Fire.

Originally joined as a spy for Regnum Deos during the Deorum War, but stays due to threats towards themself and their older sister. Incredibly strong and a useful Zypherin, but the inability to truly trust them leaves them unable to become an Elite, not that they even care about climbing the ranks of the Fallen.

Lucas Aurelius

478 years old, physically 28.

God of Plagues and Science.

A human-draconic hybrid who joined Light Song after hearing about the creation of Deathclaw Acid, and Light Song took him in after finding out about his general love and knowledge of science. Successfully managed to control and vaccinate several plague outbreaks in-between helping Light Song with experiments.

Snow Sky / Siviru Cantus

45,409 years old, physically 35.

God of Winter and Knowledge.

Joined out of guilt and the need to be loyal to her family, despite there being thousands of years between Light Song and Snow Sky. Is incredibly smart and resourceful due to her Domain, but doesn't often show it outside of helping devise strategies and supply runs. Acts as a guard alongside Path Changer.

Path Changer / Quazazel Utinam

734 years old, physically 25.

God of Order and Betrayal.

Was one of the Draconics manipulated by Light Song to break down their kingdoms. Given the title of God of Betrayal as a scathing remark towards how eager she was to gain more power. Usually acts as a guard for important personnel.

Genesis Ventus

562 years old, physically 19.

Goddess of Hopelessness, Pain, and Vengeance.

The main subject of the experiments that Light Song used to create Deathclaw Acid, but stays around due to not really knowing any other life or place. At one point left for two centuries after killing a large amount of Fallen, Celestial, Abyssmal, and Valaraen Gods, and her true unpredictableness makes it impossible for her to be an Elite despite her useful powers.

Zenaer Voru

18,103 years old, physically 24.

God of Art and Promises.

Started out as a Soul who followed Light Song due to wanting power for revenge. Light Song originally wasn't going to actually recruit him, but they managed to sneak in and rearrange everything in Light Song's study, and likely died of a plague due to no forms of poison, fatal injury, or drowning killed them.

Silas Xeqeri

345 years old, physically 45.

God of Life and Harvest

Joined Light Song to be a farmer/gardener for the Pantheon, and was more or less threatened by Light Song to do so. Was given an official Domain recently due to his affinity for plant-based magic and unusual luck with keeping healthy & abundant gardens. Not considered a highly ranked God, but still is a God nonetheless.

Fallere Mundi

128 years old, physically 20.

Follows Light Song out of curiosity and to keep her descendants safe, since if you're a loyal ally of Light Song, she likely will not harm your family badly if they happen to be in her way.

Amelia Aurelius

489 years old, physically 39.

Lucas's older sister who followed to ensure his safety, but was never given a Domain due to not really having anything notably significant to offer Light Song that she does not already have. Light Song keeps her around so Lucas does not try to betray her, and because Amelia can function quite well as a spy.

Victor Stellarum

89 years old, physically 23.

Grew up in Lux Aura with a lot of exposure to Light Song and admires her due to her power, strength, and global presence. After dying from unexpected circumstances, joined Light Song without hesitation. Due to his loyalty and admiration, there is a possibility of him becoming a God (or at least a Zypherin for her) in a couple more decades, or after he has a defined talent Light Song can use as a Domain.

Ave Regina Caelorum (Hail Queen of Heaven) is one of the four chant antiphons from the Divine Office that are sung for each season of the liturgical year. It is traditionally sung at the end of the Compline of February 2 (normally the Feast of the Purification) until the Compline of Wednesday in Holy Week. The hymn praises Our Lady, acknowledging her Queenship over heaven and angels, and extolling her unparalleled beauty and favor with God. It also acknowledges her as the mediator between men and Our Lord Jesus Christ, as it asks her to pray for us to Our Lord. The Fallen Pantheon – more about the Members (during Light Song's Reign)

Light Song / Solis Cantus

A smart but very easy to anger Ruler. Has a strong need for everything to follow Order, or at least what she considers Order.

Her main goal is to "unite" Salha under her control by taking over the other Kingdoms, and destroying those who refuse to join her.

Melee fighter, focusing on powerful and lethal attacks, fights with battle axes and knives.

Star Seer

A calm and reserved God, deciding not to get involved in fights if possible. Attempts to guide Light Song to peaceful solutions and strategies, but she doesn't listen.

His main goal is simply to have a companion who lives for a long amount of time, since he knows he isn't dying any time soon.

In the rare times he does have to fight, he prefers to use stealth and deal with his opponents quickly. Uses a quarterstaff.

Vizerxa Mortem

A usually silent advisor, easily irritable and very avoidant of most people. Even the Pantheon doesn't interact much with her, outside of the Elites actively seeking her out for help and battle strategies.

Her main goal is to achieve peace by killing Light Song and taking over the Pantheon, but her goal needs a lot of time and preparation.

Prefers stealth as well, simply Shadow-walking to behind an opponent and stabbing them in a vital spot with a long dagger, or by shooting them close-range with a handgun. Can fight melee and with a spear, but doesn't prefer it.

Amatus Maren

A normally violent God, eagerly waiting for Light Song to allow him to kill or torture people. Relatively calm and hard to actually anger, just bloodthirsty and cruel. Acts flirty with Light Song and the other Elites, except for Aella since they're closely related.

His main goal is just to follow Light Song, and create chaos. He loves the despair and chaos she causes.

Fights melee with swords, focusing on inflicting as much damage as possible.

(has black feathered wings with faded sky blue lightning-like markings on the outer feathers, and a scar running down his right forearm, from inner elbow to wrist.)

Aella Maren

Reclusive similar to Vizerxa, avoiding most of the Fallen Pantheon. Isn't allowed to leave Lux Aura unless Light Song needs her elsewhere, so spends most of her time in the forests or cliffs unless in battle.

Her main goal is to get free from Light Song and go back to her nomadic lifestyle, but she knows it's not possible as long as Light Song lives.

Mainly a ranged fighter, and uses a crossbow. If she needs to fight melee, she uses a quarterstaff, but it's mainly for self-defense.

Chaotic and unpredictable, one of the only actually energetic Fallen Deities under Light Song's reign. Loves science, and is a mindreader with no real concept of privacy. Only really gets violent when doing her job as a Guide of Vengeance.

Doesn't really... seem to have a goal, as far as anyone can tell. She just follows Vizerxa since they're family.

Doesn't often fight anyone, but when attacked she just uses mind control to scramble her attacker's mind and make them heavily hallucinate.

Blood Moon / Xealryu Ruinam

Hostile and confrontational, moreso than Amatus. Fights just for the sake of fighting, and doesn't care about mercy further than giving impressive enemies an honorable and quick death on the battlefield.

Their main goal is just to see Salha thrown into another millennia-long war, and believes Light Song is the best to follow in order to achieve it.

Fights melee with battle axes, but is well-versed in many weapons. Highly prefers up-close melee combat above all others, since it's thrilling.

Mendacium Deorum

A monotonous and uncaring Zypherin, mainly focused on just keeping their sister alive and out of Light Song's way. Shows somewhat more empathy than the rest of the Pantheon. Was Vizerxa's mentor.

Their main goal is just keeping their sister safe.

Well-versed in many weapons but most commonly fights with halberds or fire magic. Focuses on swiftly killing or incapacitating enemies.

Lucas Aurelius

A scientist who rarely leaves the lab, but gets very excited when anyone shows interest in his experiments and progress. Will talk for hours without end. Loves spending time with Videns since she has a similar love of science.

His main goal is to find cures for all plagues or illnesses he comes across, as well as make the most lethal chemical possible out of curiosity.

Doesn't fight. If an intruder breaks into the lab and attacks him, will just start throwing chemicals, pathogen samples, and sharp things at them.

(usually also wears a medical mask covering his lower face. Only wears his coat and turtleneck outside of the lab; inside the lab he wears a tshirt, lab coat, thick gloves, and protective gear. Human hands & feet, shorter tail than most Draconics & ends in a reversed arrowhead.)

Snow Sky / Sivuru Cantus

Joined Light Song due to being a descendant of her, seeing it as an obligation to blood. Was always very much against Light Song, but knew she couldn't do anything. Has high empathy for a Fallen God, and loves puzzles. Occasionally plays pranks on the Fallen when Light Song is away.

Doesn't really have a goal in life, knowing she can't really change anything by herself.

Fights with deer horn knives, melee with quick movements and a focus on disarming the enemy or suprising them.

Path Changer / Quazazel Utinam

Over time, Path Changer has adjusted to how the Fallen Pantheon works, and acts somewhat sadistic and uncaring, having been desensitized to all injuries, harm, and death like the rest of the Pantheon. Usually spends her time alone or with Blood Moon and Snow Sky if she's not needed for anything.

Their goal is to return to their home kingdom eventually, even though her family is long dead.

Fights mainly with spears and halberds, focusing on just keeping an enemy away.

Genesis Ventus

Highly sarcastic and snarky, spends a lot of time in the forge. Almost never smiles, unless a battle starts and she starts acting on bloodlust. When in battle, gleefully fixates on causing as much pain and devastation as possible.

Her main goal is to just survive and make weapons.

She fights melee, with poison-tipped and/or serrated daggers and short swords. Doesn't hit vitals if possible, just focusing on causing pain.

Zenaer Voru

A God who's usually away from the Pantheon on missions for Light Song and his own goals. Very hardworking, and hfixates on his missions until they're done.

Their main goal is to enact Vengeance on the ones who hurt his family, including the people's descendants.

Fights ranged with bows and throwing knives.

Silas Xeqeri

A witty and cunning gardener who became a God after centuries of working for Light Song. likes riddles, and usually has a lighthearted witty remark to most insults or teasing.

Doesn't have much of a goal himself, other than keeping the Fallen Pantheon alive and healthy, and stopping famines from affecting Lux Aura.

Doesn't fight much, highly preferring peace. When necessary, fights with sickle-swords.

(also has curved horns that point backwards and up. Nonfeathered wings that gradient from black to a dark misty purple with faint star-like sparkles. Has clawed feet and scales along his spine. Long whip-like tail without an arrowhead or spines.)

“Growing up, I was always just into music. Some people played sports—I always gravitated to music. It was my escape as a kid. I came up in a household where they played all the jams. My parents used to listen to R&B, rap, everything…Jay-Z, Nas, Mary J. Blige, Sade. Toni Braxton is one of my favorites. Now that I’m older, I’m also listening to a lot of jazz. When my first mixtape came out, I was a sneakerhead, which is part of the reason it was titled Just Do It. Outside of Nike and sneakers though, that motto told me to stop procrastinating, follow my dreams, and just do it. Even with my upcoming album, Liberated, it’s still my motto. It’ll always be. But now, I’m having fun with my image. I first came on the scene with short hair, curls, and a bucket hat. Three years later, I got braids and it feels like I post a different hairstyle on my Snapchat every day. It can be tough to switch up your image, but it’s about growth for me.

Speaking of which, I used to be so scared to wear makeup. I never understood why girls wore it until I started wearing it. It enhances beauty a little bit–it’s fun. Glitter is one of my things. I like putting it under the eye; lately, I’ve been using the Urban Decay’s Heavy Metal Glitter in Glam Rock and Midnight Cowboy. Being very vocal about what I want in a look is somethiing I’m learning. I love wings with eyeliner, but I’m not into smoky eyes or dark lips. I like a nude lip, I love shimmer, and a good highlight is important. And of course, so is a little lash. I don’t have a favorite brand, but I love mink eyelashes. The Kara ones I use are definitely more silky and luxe than others I’ve tried. But I try not to do that much. My natural lashes are already pretty cool. My Better Than Sex mascara is something I’ve been liking actually. And today, I picked up Fenty Beauty’s Killawatt in Trophy Wife for a highlight. I’m into gold–yellow is my thing. I had yellow hair for Fashion Week, and also a Basquiat look that was kind of unplanned. My lips don’t have any dryness at the moment, but that’s because I’ve been using e.l.f.’s Lip Exfoliator. Lip scrubs are important for me because I smoke when I’m in California, but I still need to have my lips on point.

My favorite foundation is MAC Studio Fix in NC50, the one in the pump. That and their Pro Longwear Concealer in NC45 and NC50 is what I use when I’m getting a look done. I’ve been trying to practice, and I use only MAC products when I’m doing my own. I’m a beginner–I’ll eventually work up to other brands. [Laughs] For eyeshadow, I’m currently using the Karrueche x ColourPop She Palette. I like to go with the light colors—rosy pinks and natural tones are the furthest I’ll go. I’m wearing Rihanna’s Gloss Bomb right now–it reminds me of the nude Lipglass I had when I collaborated with MAC. Hers is kind of pink and has a little shimmer, but when I put it on, it fits my natural lip color which is cool. When I go out tonight, I’m going to have to bring my lip gloss.

On nights out, I like to smell clean instead of a sweet or strong scent. Usually, it’s L’Eau D’issey by Issey Miyake or Eternity by Calvin Klein, but CK One by Calvin Klein is one of my favorite scents. Oh, and I also love Aventus by Creed. You spray that Creed and you can really get the night going.

My hair’s a little…different, so I like to use Murray’s Pomade instead of ORS’ Edge Control. [Laughs] I use that and it lays them down. And Cantu Shea Butter is pretty much all I use for haircare. I love the shampoo and conditioner because of how it feels. How often I wash my hair per week depends on how long I keep my hairstyles in, but I don’t like to leave in any kind of product. I don’t like things that feel hard on the hair—I like a soft finish. Braids–they’re sporty, they’re easy, you can put it up, you can do whatever. With them, you start off with one style and then it can become three or four later on. It’s always fun to play with them and I would love to have my hair like this everyday, but the time it takes to get done…that’s the downside. When I’m done with a style, I take it out and wash it using all my conditioning stuff. My mom does hair, so I know to do a hot oil treatment before I wash my hair once a month.

When I have a night off, I’ve probably got on pair of shades–no makeup. I relax when I can. I really do enjoy masks and candles. I like Dr. Teal’s Lavender Bubble Bath–it’s like an Epsom bath. When it’s an ideal setup: I’m in a hotel, music is playing…it’s perfect. Lavender is something I love to have in everything. But I also use sandalwood incense a lot. I just like it to feel like nature in my space–like, in my house I always have plants, flowers–it’s good to get back to that feeling, you know?

I can’t tell anyone my spots in Atlanta. Everybody will start coming! But…I do go to live music places. There’s a place I love called Cafe 290, and the audience is all older people and it’s very low-key. People come and perform; it’s karaoke, it’s drinks, it’s food. I’m a wings girl, depending on where we go while I’m there. The best wings I’ve ever had are in Detroit, my hometown, from a place called Sweetwater Tavern. People don’t know that Detroit has some of the top wings! But while I’m out, my favorite drinks are dark. Depending on the night, I like Jameson and whiskey in general. And I like Hennessy, obviously.”
